About Plant and People

A plant wellness boutique with body care and wellness products and services, gifts, live plants, and supplies, intentionally created to support the community with their restorative needs. Believing in self-care with plants, this mother and daughter have teamed up to share their passion for growing and living a plant-based lifestyle. They create all of the beautiful plant arrangements which are perfect for corporate gifts, holidays, anniversaries, home goings, altars, birthdays, or any special occasion. Many of the products and gifts are hand made or owned by local, Black, or women businesses. Plant and People is available for private shopping and classes. Schedule appointments Tues-Thursday.

A true treasure, I’m from NJ and I wish I had more time to just be immersed in the space. The variety of plants is impressive for the space, and the cafe and overall environment is just very welcoming. Will absolutely be back. My plant is so happy

10/10. The owner was so sweet and helped me with everything. My latte and my slice of pumpkin bread was delicious. I will be going back. I loved all the beautiful plants. It was so beautiful and it smelled so good inside.

They have a wide variety of houseplants, and the staff is incredibly friendly. However, I personally feel that the prices are a bit high, especially for smaller plants.

What a wonderful and relaxing experience it was when we stepped into the establishment. Immediately, we were enveloped in a sense of calmness, surrounded by beautiful exotic plants and a diverse selection of products from local black business owners. I instantly felt at home in this welcoming environment. As I sipped on my mushroom coffee, I couldn't help but marvel at the rich and robust flavor. While I don't often indulge in mushroom coffee, the calming and health benefits it offers have piqued my interest. The affordability of the coffee was a pleasant surprise, especially considering the generous portion size I received for around seven dollars. The golden milk I tried was truly soothing, with a gentle warmth and a hint of pepper flavor. The combination of turmeric, ginger, cardamom, and a touch of vanilla created a delightfully flavorful beverage for the soul. Despite the ongoing renovations following a fire on the second floor, one of the owners remained positive and optimistic about the future of the space.
